Receptionist
Overview
We are seeking to recruit a Receptionist to provide a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service to parents, staff, students, and visitors. The role includes managing basic administrative duties, overseeing the ordering and distribution of school resources, and supporting day-to-day operational activities such as assisting with school lunches and logistics.
Personal attributes
- The successful candidate will:
- Welcome and sign in visitors in line with safeguarding procedures.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and messages promptly.
- Ensure security protocols are followed for access to the school.
- Assist with collating and distributing school letters, forms, and notices.
- Help maintain pupil records and handle day-to-day parent queries.
- Support the reporting of staff attendance records and maintain absence logs in coordination with SLT/Office admin lead.
- Receive deliveries and ensure resources are stored and distributed appropriately.
- Distribute school lunches and monitor lunch lists.
- Provide cover for the office as required.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by line management that support the smooth running of the school.
Salary & Benefits
£24,199.50 – £28,009.66 per annum (ELMT scale C6– D6) Pro-rata
Part-time (TBC – Wed, Thu & half day AM Fri)
